Verify a signed document

Every document signed on VersoPDF carries a QR code and a SHA-512 hash. Drop the file into the Verify Center — or scan its QR — to confirm it's the exact original, unchanged since signing. It's free for everyone.

  1. Open Verify — Upload the signed PDF or scan its QR code.
  2. We recompute the hash — The document's SHA-512 is checked against the original.
  3. See the result — A match confirms the file is authentic and untouched.

How do I verify a document signed on VersoPDF?

Upload it to the Verify Center or scan the QR on the page. VersoPDF recomputes the SHA-512 hash and confirms it matches the original signed file.

Does verifying cost anything?

No. Verifying a signed document by QR or hash is free for everyone, with no account required.

What if the document was changed?

Any edit changes the hash, so the check will fail — telling you the file is not the original that was signed.
